Pastor's Welcome

As Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Clovis and our mission church of San José in Texico, I would like to welcome you to our parish website. Most especially, in the name of Jesus Christ, it is my privilege to welcome you to our parish family. We are a community of faith, founded on the faith of the Twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ, who were commissioned to go out and share the Good News (the Gospel).

As believers in the one faith of these first Christians and disciples of Jesus, we too have this same good news to share with you and with all. I invite you to come and learn more about Jesus, but most importantly to get to know Him personally. A parish is a spiritual family of believers that is supportive and loving. It is the place from which comes spiritual growth, where we are called to put our faith in action and to use our gifts of time and talent as disciples of Christ.

We are happy to have you here! We look forward to answering any questions you may have. In the meantime, please look through the resources we’ve made available on these pages.

Yours in Christ Jesus the Lord,

Fr. Eli Valadez
